Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali include:
General Category
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old when applying.
- Only Indian citizens or Non-Resident Indians who are allowed to purchase property in Uttar Pradesh can apply.
- Each person can only apply for one plot. If anyone is found to have applied for more than one, all applications will be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited.
- Joint applications are allowed only with immediate family members, and proof of relation is required.
- Both spouses can apply, but if both are allotted plots, one must be surrendered within one month. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of both plots.

- Only industrial establishments or their representatives (like Managing Directors) whose land has been acquired can apply. They must not have received a plot in earlier schemes.
- Industries must provide proof of functioning and clear all dues before applying.

Eligibility for Bonafide Industries
- Industries must have an industrial plot allotted before June 30, 2024, and provide proof of functionality.
- All dues to the authority must be cleared.
- Only one plot can be allotted to an industry or its representatives, regardless of the number of premises owned.
- Charitable and religious institutions and their members cannot apply.
Eligibility for Farmers
- Only farmers whose land has been acquired without encroachment can apply.
- Farmers must have received full compensation for their land before the application closing date.
- If there are multiple joint khatedars, they can apply together, but only one plot will be allotted.
- Applicants must not have any encroachments on the acquired land. An affidavit declaring this is required.
