About Right to Education (RTE) Act

The Right to Education Act (RTE), is also known as the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. By Article 21a of the Indian Constitution, this law was made. It is a law passed by the Indian Parliament on August 4, 2009. This law gives the requirements for free and compulsory education for children in India between the ages of six and fourteen. With the Act coming into effect in 2010, India joined 135 other countries in declaring education to be a fundamental right for all children. The Act establishes minimum standards for elementary schools and declares education a fundamental right for all children. All private schools must reserve 25% of their seats for children for SC, ST or EWS children.

The objective of RTE MP Admission 2024-25

The primary objective of the RTE MP Admission 2024-25 is to promote education and empower children belonging to the lower class both economically and socially. Eligibility Criteria

  • RTE Madhya Pradesh will only allow applications from Madhya Pradesh natives.
  • The only candidates for admission to RTO Madhya Pradesh will be the offspring of Scheduled Caste and Tribe members who fall into the state’s lower classes.
  • Children who are orphans may also be admitted to schools in Madhya Pradesh under the RTE.

  • For children to be admitted under this scheme, their parents’ annual income must not exceed Rs 1 lakh.
