About NIPUN Bharat Mission
The full form of the NIPUN Bharat Mission is the National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy Bharat Programme. This initiative was created by the central government as a part of the new education policy for the year 2022. It aims to cover the needs of children between the age group of 3 to 9 years and it will cover their learning needs. It will also support and encourage the students in order to help them realize their true potential and become a better part of society. There are different targets that are set by the organization that is to be achieved to buy the candidates who are included in this mission. The invasion will be implemented by the Department Of School Education and Literacy. 25 lakh teachers will be teaching at the pre-primary and the primary level in order to be able to complete the mission.

- Availability of an adequate number of teachers for primary grades and fill vacancies
- Adequate Teaching learning time – improved teacher attendance and develop a common instruction schedule with dedicated time for literacy and numeracy
- Timely delivery of textbooks & uniforms
- Ensure basic facilities at every primary school as per RTE norms
- Identify a pool of mentors and map them to teachers to provide onsite support at the school level
- Strengthen SCERT, DIETs, BRCs and CRCs to provide academic support to teachers and teacher educators
- Catalyze support of SMCs in achieving NIPUN Bharat goals
- Availability of functional libraries and children’s literature for FLN grades
