A new health scheme has been started in Punjab and it is being called Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana. It was told by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on 8th July in a big program with Arvind Kejriwal. Under this scheme, around 65 lakh families of Punjab will be given free treatment up to Rs. 10 lakh. It can be used in both government and private hospitals and no Ayushman card or ration card is needed. Only Aadhaar card or Voter ID is being asked. Card making will start from October 2. Even government employees, Asha and Anganwadi workers are being added in this scheme too.

Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana was launched in Punjab and it was announced by CM Bhagwant Mann on 8th July during a big function with Arvind Kejriwal. Objective of Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana
The main aim of Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana is to help the people of Punjab who are sick and don’t have money for treatment. It was started so that free treatment can be given in hospitals and no one is worried about hospital bills. Poor families will be helped and also others too. Application Process
To apply for the Mukhyamantri Sehat Bima Yojana, please follow these below mentioned steps:
- Step 1: All the citizens of the Punjab State who wanted to apply for the scheme, are requested to visit the PMJAY Website to proceed with the application process.
- Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on “Am I Eligible” option to open the Beneficiary NHA Portal and you will be redirected to the new page
- Step 3: After you reach the NHA Portal you should enter the Captcha code and your mobile number for verification, then click on “VERIFY” button to receive the OTP.
- Step 4: Once you have received the OTP, then enter it into the desired space and click on “LOGIN” button to proceed further.
- Step 5: You will be taken to another page here you have to click on “Click here for Enrollment” option to start the application process.
- Step 6: Now enter your Aadhaar Number / Family ID, and Captcha Code, then you have to click on “Search” button to find your name in the system.
- Step 7: You will now be directed to the page where you have to do e-KYC, select any one option for e-KYC to further proceed.
- Step 8: If you have selected Aadhaar OTP, then you have to enter Aadhaar Number and click on “Verify” button so you can go ahead for approval procedure.
- Step 9: Read the consent letter properly, and then scroll down, after that tick the consent box and click on “ALLOW” button so that the permission is given.
- Step 10: You will get the two OTPs, so enter the Aadhaar OTP and also type the mobile OTP in the correct places carefully and double-check it.
- Step 11: Now you have to select the declaration option which applies to you and then click on “Proceed” button so the KYC gets completed and you will reach for next step.
- Step 12: You have to capture your photo now and fill all the additional information, and then enter captcha, mobile number to do authentication for safety.
- Step 13: Again one OTP will receive, type the OTP and then select category, enter pin code, and choose State, District, Rural or Urban, select City or Town and Ward also to give full info.
- Step 14: If you have other family members to add, then click on “Add Family Member Details” to add their details, otherwise select “I do not have any other family member” option and go ahead.
- Step 15: Accept the certification box and click on “Submit” button to download the Health Card.
