This scheme is like an extension to the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) for all the citizens of India who are above the age of 70 years. Objective of Ayushman Vaya Vandana Scheme
The main objective of launching the Ayushman Vaya Vandana is to make sure that all the senior citizens of India get proper Healthcare facilities without working about any financial problem. The launch of this scheme will give a significant boost to the medical infrastructure for senior citizens in India. Additionally, the central government of India did not place any eligibility criteria regarding income so that anyone can apply for the scheme regardless of their economic status. If the senior citizen’s family is already registered under the PM-JAY they will receive an additional INR 5 lakh for senior citizen.

STEP 1: All the senior citizens who want to avail the benefits of the Ayushman Vaya Vandana can now visit the Ayushman Card website to apply online.
STEP 2: Once the senior citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must enter their mobile number along with the captcha code and click on the option “login”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the senior citizens must enter their state, district, Aadhaar number, PMJAY program name, PMJAY ID, or Family ID and click on the option “action”.
STEP 4: Now the application form will appear on your desktop screen the senior citizens must enter their Aadhar card number and complete the KYC process.
STEP 5: After entering all the details the senior citizens must review it and click on the option “submit” to complete the process.

STEP 1: All the senior citizens who have already applied for the scheme can now with the official website to download the Ayushman Vaya Vandana card.
STEP 2: Once the senior citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must enter their mobile number along with the captcha code and click on the option “login”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the senior citizens must enter their state, district, Aadhaar number, PMJAY program name, PMJAY ID, or Family ID and click on the option “search”.
STEP 4: Now a list of cards that is connected to a particular Aadhaar card will appear on your desktop screen.
STEP 5: The citizens will see a “download icon” directly in front of their name if the KYC process has already been completed.
STEP 6: If the KYC is not done the citizens must enter their Aadhar card number and click on the option “get OTP” to complete the authentication process.
STEP 7: Now after entering all the details the citizens must click on the “download icon” to start the downloading process.
