About Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana
On January 22, 2015, our nation’s prime minister, Narendra Modi, launched this program. Safety and education and girl child’s survival will be secured with the help of this scheme. The goal of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana is to end newborn murder. In addition, the girl child will feel safe and have a bright future with the help of this scheme. In 100 districts, the government launched the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana in 2014–15. 61 more districts were included in this scheme during the 2015–16. Currently, this program is in place in every district of India. With the help of this scheme, the standards and the life of the girls living in India have changed a lot.

Objective of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana
The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana‘s primary objective is to improve girls’ living conditions in India. Eligibility Criteria
- There should be a girl child in the family who is younger than ten.
- In any Indian bank, a Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA) should be opened in the name of the family’s girl child.
- The girl child ought to be an Indian resident.
