Objective of AP Free Laptop Scheme

Guidelines For The Sanction Of Laptop To Differently Abled Students
The IT department has suggested that all students enrolled in professional courses who are visually impaired receive computers for Rs. 30000 each, for a total of Rs. 60000. In addition, the government will once-in-a-lifetime give laptops to kids who have orthopaedic, hearing, or speech impairments. The guidelines for sanctioning laptops are as follows:
- The pupil will receive a laptop only once in their lifetime.
- If a student provides false information in order to benefit from this plan, they could be held accountable for any subsequent corporate actions. The pupils must also return the instrument or pay the instrument’s price.
- The only students eligible for this programme are those whose parents or guardians’ monthly incomes do not exceed Rs. 15000, which is half the instrument’s cost between Rs. 15000 and Rs. 20000 and collecting the full cost from those who have monthly incomes of Rs. 20000 and above under the ADIP Program.
- The pupil will receive a laptop only once in their lifetime.

Procedure to Apply For Andhra Pradesh Free Laptop 2024
Online
- Visit the Andhra Pradesh Differently Abled and Senior Citizen Assistance Corporation’s AP Free Laptop website.
- On the homepage, near the middle of the page, select “online application.”
- To apply for the differently-abled programme, follow the link.
- Type “Application for Sanction of Laptops” into the search box.
- When you select “Apply Online,” a new page will open.
- Select “No Option” if you are not registered.
- The screen will display the form.
- Enter the information below.
- Name as in Aadhaar card
- Aadhar card number
- Mobile number
- Email id
- Create a password
- Retype the password
- After that click on Register option.
- Using your ID and password, log in to the website if you have previously registered.
