About Amma Two Wheeler Scheme
This scheme was announced by the honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi In February 2018. The Amma Two Wheeler Scheme Application Form has been launched to commemorate the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mrs. Jayalalithaa. The scheme was launched on the 70th birth anniversary of the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. Under this scheme, the government is offering a 50% subsidy or up to rupees 25000 discount to working women on the purchase of a two-wheeler.

Objective Of Amma Two Wheeler Scheme
The motive of the government behind starting the Amma two-wheeler scheme is to commemorate the former prime minister of Tamil Nadu and help working women buy their two-wheelers. The government is going to provide financial help to the working women who meet the eligibility conditions under this scheme.
Benefits Of Amma Two-Wheeler Scheme

Eligibility Criteria
- The age of the applicant should be in between 18 to 40 years
- The annual income of the applicant should not be more than rupees 2.5 lakh

- The application should have a valid two-wheeler driving licence or learner permit
- Priority will be provided to working women who are

Reservation
Under the Amma two-wheeler scheme, the government has made special reservations for women from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and differently-abled.
- 21% allocation reserved for the scheduled caste women
- One percent allocation reserved for the scheduled tribe women
- 4% of allocation reserved for the differently able women

Amma Two Wheeler Scheme Application Procedure
- Applicants can apply for the scheme after downloading the application form from the links available below or collect the form from the block office, urban local body office, or collectorates
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details as asked in it
- Submit the field application dual signed and with significant documents at the same office
- The officer will provide you with an acknowledgment receipt in which are unique application number is mentioned. Must collect the acknowledgment receipt.
Subsidy Claim
After you receive the Amma two-wheeler scheme registration certificate, you have to submit the claim form. The subsidy amount will release by the authority is directly in your loan account or bank account. Further are the steps to fill the claim form

- Fill in your application number along with other necessary details as asked in the form
- Mention the mode of purchase of the vehicle (whether taken a loan or buy by yourself)
- Mention all the account details such as account number, account type, account holder name, Bank branch and IFSC code
- Enter the date and sign the claim form.
- Submit the duly signed application form by the bank manager or Finance company along with their stamps.
