About Kalibai Scooty Yojana

The Government of Rajasthan has launched Kalibai Scooty Yojana. Through this scheme scooty will be provided to the students free of cost. This scooty will be provided to beneficiaries belonging to schedule caste, schedule tribe, and minorities. The government is going to distribute more than 10000 scooties. Apart from this, the number of scooties for each district has also been fixed under this scheme. The scooties are fixed on the basis of different percentages in science, arts, and commerce. The government has launched this scheme in order to encourage girls and their parents to get an education.

All those students who have got good marks in class 12th can apply under this scheme. There is also a provision of giving cash amount of Rs 40000 in place of scooty in order to encourage economically weaker section students to get an education

Objective Of Kalibai Scooty Yojana

The main objective of Kalibai Scooty Yojana is to provide scooty to the students free of cost
So that they can be able to commute for getting an education easily
Now beneficiaries are not required to depend on others in order to get scooty as the Government of Rajasthan is going to provide 10000 scooties every year

Benefits And Features Kalibai Scooty Yojana 2023

Eligibility Of Kalibai Scooty Yojana

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Rajasthan.
Only SC / ST / OBC / other minority groups and economically weaker girl students of a general category can get the benefit of this scheme.
If a girl child has already gotten the benefit of any other Scooty scheme, she cannot get the benefit of this scheme. But if the girl child has previously obtained scooty from the TAD department or school department on the basis of the marks obtained in class X, she is eligible to get a cash amount of ₹ 40000 on the marks of class XII.
The annual income of the parents of the applicant should be 2.5 lakh rupees or less.
The applicant’s parents should not be taxpayers.
It is mandatory for the girl students pursuing education in Rajasthan Board to get at least 65% marks and for the girl students pursuing education in the CBSE board to get at least 75% marks.
It is mandatory for the beneficiary to take admitted to the graduate program after passing class 12th.
If there is a gap between passing class XII and taking admission in graduation, then the benefit of this scheme will not be provided to the girl student.
