Water Bill Settlement Scheme Delhi 2024 was launched by the Chief Minister of Delhi. The Government of Delhi State announced the launch of the water bill settlement scheme Delhi 2024 for all the residents of Delhi who are having inflated water bills. All the permanent residents of Delhi who have received incorrect or inflated water bills from the authorities are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme 2024. This scheme will help the residents of Delhi pay their pending water bills at a subsequently reduced amount to the original bill. This scheme in Delhi is only available to the residents of Delhi.

Delhi Government Revive Water Bill Settlement Scheme

All the citizens of Delhi who have received incorrect water bills or have pending water bills in Delhi are eligible to avail the benefits of the Water Bill Settlement Scheme Delhi 2024. The residents of Delhi have a chance to pay their pending water bills By making a one-time payment to the Government of Delhi. With the help of the scheme, the Government of Delhi is expected to receive a total of INR 2500 crore in revenue. The applicants can fill out the application form to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The objective of Water Bill Settlement Scheme

The main objective of launching the Water Bill Settlement Scheme in Delhi is to help those who have received incorrect water bills from the authorities. All the permanent residents of Delhi who have received inflated water bills can fill out the application form to avail the benefits of this scheme. The Government of Delhi will provide a one-time settlement for all the applicants so that they can pay their water bills. The one-time payment will be subsequently reduced then the original water bill that they have received. According to reports more than 40% of the consumers in Delhi have received incorrect water bills from the water authorities of Delhi.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
• The applicants must have a functioning water meter.
• The applicant must have received incorrect or pending water bills in Delhi.
