The main aim of launching this scheme is to increase industrial development in the North East part of India. By providing employment opportunities to the unemployed citizens of the Northeast part of India the Government of India will increase the socio-economic health of the northeast part of India. The scheme will be effective from the date of notification and up to March 31, 2034, along with eight years of committed liabilities.
