Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must reside in Telangana permanently.
- The following criteria must be met by applicants: SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority.
- The annual family income for the SC/ ST category cannot exceed Rs. 2 lakh, while the annual family income for the BC/ EBC category cannot exceed Rs. 1.50 lakh (rural region) and Rs. 2 lakh (urban area).
- Children with physical disabilities whose families make less than or equivalent to Rs. 1 lakh are also eligible to apply. Application for the scholarship requires a minimum of 75% attendance each quarter.
Ineligibility for the Ts ePass Scholarship
The following students are not eligible for the Ts e-Pass scholarship 2024:
- Students who do not fit within the categories of the disabled, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, economically backward class, or backward class.
- Students from scheduled castes and tribes are eligible if their family’s annual income is higher than 2 lakh rupees.
- All students from the underprivileged social, economic, and racial groups who reside in rural areas and have a household income of more than Rs. 150000 per year are eligible.
- In remote learning courses offered by open institutions, as well as category B seats in the MBBS and BDS programmes, students from the underprivileged classes, the economically underprivileged class, and the disabled are admitted.
