Eligibility Criteria
Here we have provided the eligibility criteria for the Thalliki Vandanam Eligibility List, which are as follows:
- Total family income must be below Rs. 10,000 every month if living in a village, and not more than Rs. 12,000 per month if staying in town or city areas.
- At least one person in the family should have a rice card, and it must be valid.
- The land of the family must be small, which is less than 3 acres if it’s wet land or below 10 acres if it’s dry land, or together it should not cross 10 acres.
- Electricity use for the house (even if rented) should be under 300 units per month, and it will be checked by taking the 12-month average.
- Sweepers and workers who earn less than Rs. 10,000 in villages and Rs. 12,000 in towns are okay.
- The mother or guardian’s name must already be there in the Andhra Pradesh household list; if only the child’s name is there, then officers from GSWS will come and check before giving approval.
- Children of the family should be studying in Class 1 to 12 in government, private aided or unaided, or residential schools or junior colleges, which are allowed by the state.
- Orphan children and street children can also be given money, but their details must be checked and confirmed with the help of the concerned department.
- The mother’s bank account must be linked with Aadhaar, and NPCI status should be checked, because the money will be sent directly.
- If the student has at least 75% attendance this year, then only he or she will be allowed to get help in the next year too. If the child leaves school or misses many days, then no help will be given next time.
- Class 1 and Class 11 students will also get help, but only after the admission process is completed for the academic year 2025-26

Intelligibility under Thalliki Vandanam
The eligibility criteria for the Thalliki Vandanam Scheme are as follows:
- If anyone in the house owns a 4-wheeler like a car, they can’t get the help, but if it is a taxi, tractor, or auto, then it is allowed.
- Families who own municipal houses that are 1000 sq. ft. or more will not be allowed to take the benefit.
- If anyone in the home works in government service, gets a pension after retirement, or is in a PSU job, they can’t apply.
- If any family member is paying Income Tax, then the whole family will not be eligible.
- If the student is in ITI, IIIT (RGUKT), Polytechnic, or similar courses where fees are already paid by the government, then they will not be included in this scheme.
