Objective Of SC Post Matric Scholarship
The main objective of the Government of India behind starting the SC post-matric scholarship program is to provide financial help to the students who belong to the scheduled caste category. Students can use the scholarship amount received only for educational expenses. All those schedule caste students who are studying at the post-matric level will benefit from the scheme.
Implementation of SC Post Matric Scholarship
SC post matric scholarship program has been implement by the state government. Guidelines, in order to assist Eligibility of beneficiaries and institutions, have been set by the state government. The central government provides financial assistance for the successful implementation of the scheme to the state government. Every year the application form will release in the month of May- June.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of India
- Applicant should be from scheduled caste category
- Applicant should be studying at post-matric level
- Applicant must not be receiving benefits from any other Scholarship program by central or state government
- 30% of scholarships are given to the girl students
- 2 students from a family will get the benefits
- Annual income of applicants family should not be more than Rs. 800000
- Applicant have to clear the academics without any gap to continue the scholarship benefits

SC Post Matric Scholarship 2024 Application Procedure
Students from Assam, Chandigarh, Dadar and Nagra haveli and Daman & Diu, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Puducherry, Tripura and Uttarakhand have to follow the below mention steps to apply for the SC post matric scholarship program. Students from States other than mentioned above have to visit the State scholarship portal to submit the application form.
- To apply for the scholarship you need to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal by Ministry of electronics and information Technology Government of India
- Homepage of the portal will open on the screen from where you need to go to the applicants corner
- You need to click on new registration option available in the applicants corner
- New page will open on the screen from where click on click here for scholarship scheme hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23
- Read the instructions appear on the screen and tick the checkbox
- Click on continue button to open the application form
- In the application form you need to enter the information asked such as

- Name of the applicant
- Guardian name
- Date of birth

- Complete the information and click on register option
- Follow the screen and enter the OTP you received
- Now sucessful registration message will appear
