About PMKVY Courses List
The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDEPradhan )’s Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the premier outcome-based skill training programme offered by Skill India. It is the largest skill certification programme in India, and its goal is to encourage and empower a large number of Indian youngsters to enrol in outcome-based skill training so they may find employment and support themselves. The Ministry published the updated PMKVY Courses List (2018-2021) on March 3, 2019. A total of 28 new industry verticals have been added, bringing the total number of courses on the revised list down from 577 to just 165. However, according to the official website, there are more overall job roles for both programmes (Short Term Learning and Recognition of Prior Learning).
