 The Eligibility criteria for the scheme are as follows:

  • The scheme is open to all landholding farmers’ families across India.
  • A “family” is defined as a unit comprising a husband, wife, and minor children.
  • Farmers must own cultivable land as recorded in the state or union territory’s land records.
  • The size of the landholding does not affect eligibility, as farmers with any size of cultivable land are eligible.
