The registration and application process starts on October 10, 2024, at 12 pm. The lottery draw is scheduled for December 5, 2024. Applicants can register, apply, and make online payments from October 10 onwards. The registration period will close on November 12, 2024, at 5 pm, with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) submissions will be accepted until 11:59 pm the same day. RTGS/NEFT payments will be allowed until 3 pm on November 13, 2024.
A provisional list of accepted applications will be published on November 23, 2024 at 7 PM with objections allowed until November 27, 2024. The final list of eligible applicants will be released on November 30, 2024, on the MHADA website.

The Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (MHADA) is a government body established in 1977 to provide affordable housing to the people of Maharashtra. It operates under the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Act, 1976, and focuses on creating residential spaces for various income groups, including Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Lower Income Groups (LIG), Middle-Income Groups (MIG), and Higher Income Groups (HIG). Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scheme, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
- The age of the applicants should be over 18 years old.
- Income Requirements:
- Families with annual income between Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh are eligible to apply under the LIG category.
- For the MIG category, the annual income should range between Rs. 9 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh per year.
- The families who are earning more than Rs. 12 lakh per annum are eligible to apply under the HIG category.
Note: For determining family income, only the combined annual income of husband and wife is considered; income from parents or siblings is not included.
