About Mahalakshmi Scheme Telangana

In the election manifesto of the Congress Party Mahalakshmi scheme was announced on 18 September 2023. After coming to power in Telangana the government has officially launched this scheme. Under the scheme women of the state will be entitled to receive monthly financial assistance up to Rs 2500. So that they will be empowered and their financial security can be improved. Under this scheme, around 1.5 crore women will be benefitted. Other than monthly financial assistance the women will also be entitled to receive free travel in the state-run buses.  LPG gas cylinder at Rs 500 will also be provided. With the implementation of the scheme, the standard of living of the beneficiaries will also be improved. Other than that women will also become self-dependent.
