Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024: How to Apply Online and Check Eligibility

The Odisha state government launched the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024. To provide social security and financial assistance to all the senior citizens of Odisha state the Odisha state government announced the launch of Madhu Babu Pension 2024. All the permanent residents of Odisha state who are above the age of 60 years will get financial assistance under the Madhu Babu Pension Scheme 2024. The financial assistance of INR 300 will be given to the selected applicants under the scheme and INR 500 will be given to all the applicants who are above the age of 80 years.

The audition state government launched the Odisha Madhu Babu Pension Scheme 2024 to provide financial assistance to all citizens who are above the age of 60 years.  All permanent residents of Odisha state who are 60 years or above and widows respective of their age are eligible to avail of the benefits under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024. The financial assistance under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana 2024 will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account. All the applicants who clear the eligibility criteria must fill out the application form on the official website to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The objective of the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana

The main objective of launching the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana is to help the senior citizens of Odisha state who do not have a passive income source. The main aim of launching this scheme is to provide social security to all the citizens of Odisha who are above the age of 60 years. The Odisha state government will financial assistance of INR 300 to all the applicants under this scheme. Financial assistance of INR 500 will be given to applicants who are above the age of 80 years under the Yojana. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the selected applicant’s bank account.

Eligibility Criteria

• The age of the applicant should be more than 60 years.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident/domicile of Odisha.
• The applicant should not be involved in criminal activities.
• The applicant’s annual income should not be more than INR 24000 per annum or the family should be enlisted in the BPL category.
• The applicant is not in receipt of any other pension from the Union Govt. or State Govt.

Pension Amount Details

• Financial assistance of INR 300 will be given to the selected applicants under the Madhu Babu Pension Scheme.

Pension Sanction Process

• Sub-Collector of the state will receive the pension application and shall examine the application within 15 days.
• The sub-collector either sanctions the payment of a pension or rejects the application with a clear mention of reasons for rejection.
•  The sub-divisional social welfare officer Shail has access to the sub-collector for timely disposal of the application received.
• The sanction order in form No. MBPY-IV shall be maintained by the sub-collector along with the full particulars of the pensioners.
• The sanction orders are to be issued from the prescribed register of which the original is to be sent to the BDO concerned and the counterfoil to be kept for verification.
