About Ladki Bahin Yojana
The Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched on 17th August 2024 to provide financial assistance to all the financially unstable female citizens of the state. Till now a total of 5 installments of the scheme have been released by the Maharashtra state government since its launch. The fourth and the fifth installments of the scheme were released combined by the Maharashtra state government because of the festival of Diwali. A total of 34 lakh female citizens of Maharashtra state have received financial assistance under the scheme. The funds under the scheme will be given to female citizens through the DBT method.
Objective of Ladki Bahin Yojana Update
The main objective of releasing the Ladki Bahin Yojana Update is to inform all female citizens about when they will receive their monthly help. This scheme will allow female citizens to carry out their daily expenses on their own without depending on anyone. The Women and Child Development Department is the nodal department that administrates the work of the Ladki Bahin Yojana. All the female citizens of Maharashtra state who are between the age group of 21 to 65 years are eligible to avail the benefits of the scheme. The next installment is the sixth installment which is expected to be released by the Maharashtra state government in December 2024.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Rs 2100 Installment
Before the election in Maharashtra state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that if they come into power in Maharashtra they will increase the financial assistance under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Now the Mahayuti party of Mr Eknath Shinde has won the Maharashtra Election and the beneficiaries can expect to get new financial assistance of INR 2100 per month. The enhanced financial assistance will significantly increase the standard of living of all the female citizens of Maharashtra state. The female citizens of Maharashtra state can expect to get INR 2100 as financial assistance in the December installment of the Ladki Bahin Yojana.
