- It is needed that the family income should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year to be eligible.
- Less than five acres of land with water or less than ten acres without water should be owned by the family.

Ineligibility Criteria

- If family income is more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year, help is stopped.
- If an income tax return is filed and income tax is paid with more than Rs. 2.5 lakh income, help is not given.
- If professional tax is paid and the yearly income is above Rs. 2.5 lakh, help is stopped.
- Government and Union employees, workers in the public sector, banks, boards, local bodies, cooperative societies, and their pensioners are not allowed.
- Elected leaders like Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, District Panchayat Presidents, District Panchayat Members, Panchayat Union Presidents, Panchayat Union Members, Panchayat Council Presidents, Corporation, Municipality, Town Panchayat Presidents and Members cannot get help (ward members of village council are excepted).
- Families who own four-wheeled vehicles like cars, jeeps, tractors, heavy vehicles for their own use are not eligible.
- Business owners with a turnover above Rs. 50 lakh and paying GST, can’t get help.
- Families getting pension from Old Age Pension, Widow Pension, Unorganized Workers Welfare Board Pension and other government pensions are not allowed.

- Step 1: From June 4th, camps are being held by the government in many places, and they are called “Chief Minister with the People” special camps, which must be visited.
- Step 2: These camps will be held in all talukas, and the location of the camp can be known if you ask in your own taluka office where you live.
- Step 3: If you didn’t apply earlier or if your form was rejected before, you can apply again by going to the camp.
- Step 4: In the camp, a form for the Kalaignar Women’s Rights Scheme will be given to you, and you must fill it out.
- Step 5: You must write in the form many things like your name, Aadhaar number, family card number, whether married or not, mobile number, home address, own or rented house, district, EB connection number, gas bill, bank name, branch, account number.
- Step 6: Officers will tell which documents must be attached, and Xerox copies of Aadhaar card, ration card, bank passbook, EB receipt, and gas bill may be needed.
- Step 7: Original papers must be carried with you while giving the form to officers so they can check.
- Step 8: After filling out the form, you can check online if your form is accepted or rejected by giving your phone number.
- Step 9: If the form is accepted, a message will come to your mobile that is in your bank passbook, and if it is not accepted, still a message will come to the same number.
- Step 10: If the mobile number or account number is wrong, then again you must apply with the correct details, and even your husband’s mobile or bank can be used.

- Only the head person of the house who is in the family can give the form for this scheme.
- If a woman’s name is there as the head of the family card, then she will be taken as the house head for this scheme.
- When a man’s name is written on the card as the head, then his wife will be counted as the main woman of the house.
- If his wife’s name is not there by mistake, then any other lady who is living in the house can be made as the main woman, but she should be 21 years or older, and if there are many women of that age, one person must be chosen by the family to apply.
- Also, if a lady is not married or she is a widow or a transgender woman, then she can also be taken as the head and can apply.
