About Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana is an initiative of the Government of India. The scheme was announced by the government in the year 2019 on 31st May. Under the scheme, the government is going to provide the pension to eligible farmers. To get the benefits of the scheme All eligible farmers have to make contributions for their secured future. The pension amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the farmers. This scheme is only for the small and marginal farmers. The motive of the Government of India behind starting the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana is to provide financial security to the small and marginal farmers. To support the farmers the government is going to provide an assured pension to the farmers after attaining the age of 60 years and a family pension as well.

Benefits/ Features Of The Scheme
- Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana is very beneficial for small and marginal farmers.
- The farmers who attain the age of 60 years will get an assured pension of rupees 3000 per month
- If the farmer dies then the spouse of the farmer will receive 50% of the pension as a family pension (Rs. 1500)
- Farmers can use this amount to meet their expenses
- To get the pension benefits after attaining the age of 60 farmers have to make a contribution to this scheme every month.
- The farmers of the age group of 18 to 40 years have to contribute an amount of rupees 55 to rupees 200 per month till they attain the age of 60 years
- If the farmer who is contributing to the scheme became disabled before attaining the age of 60 and unable to contribute under the scheme then his spouse can continue the subsequent payment as applicable army receive the share of contribution deposited by the beneficiary with interest as actually earn their own by the Pension fund or the interest at the saving bank interest rate.
- If the farmer leaves the scheme before 10 years from the date of joining then he/ she will receive only the contribution given by him for the scheme with a saving bank rate of interest
- If the farmer leaves the scheme after 10 years from the date of joining but does not attend the age of 60 then his share of contribution only shall be written to him along with the accumulated interest as actually earned by the Pension fund
- If the farmer regularly contributes to the scheme but died before attaining the age of 60 then his spouse can continue the scheme subsequently or exit the scheme by receiving the contribution paid by such beneficiary along with the accumulated as actually earn by the Pension fund

Eligibility Criteria
- An Applicant should be an Indian
- An Applicant should be a small or marginal farmer
- The Age of the applicant must be in between 18 to 40 years
- Applicant must hold cultivable land up to hectares as per land records of the concerned state/ UTs
- Applicant should hold
- Aadhar card
- Saving bank account/ PM Kisanaccount
Ineligible
- Applicant must not be receiving the benefits of any other statutory social security scheme like National pension scheme, employee State Insurance Corporation scheme, employee fund organization scheme, etc
- Farmers must not go to receive any benefits under the Pradhan Mantrishram Yogi man dhanYojana and the national pension scheme for traders and self-employed pension administrated by the Ministry of labour and employment.
- Any of the following are not eligible
- All Institutional Landholders
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts
- Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers
- Former/present Members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils,
- Former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations,
- Former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
- All serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries/ Offices/Departments and their field units, Central or State PSEs, and Attached offices/ Autonomous Institutions under Government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies (Excluding Multi-Tasking Staff / Class IV/Group D employees).
- All Persons who paid Income Tax in the last assessment year
- Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects registered with Professional bodies and carry out professional practices.
Application Procedure
- To apply for the scheme first of all you have to visit the Pradhan Mantri Mandhan Yojana website
- The Home page of the portal will appear on the screen from where you have to select sign in option
- A new page will appear on the computer screen from where you have to select self -the enrollment button
- Now you have to enter your mobile number on the popup window that appears on the screen
- Press proceed button and you will receive an OTP on your mobile number
- Enter the OTP in the given space and press verify button
- Now choose the scheme for which you desire to apply as Pradhan MantriKisanMandhanYojana
- The Online registration form will open on the screen
- Enter all the important details in it such as
