The scheme guarantees State junior attorneys a salary of Rs. 3,000 per month. The stipend is available to lawyers under the age of 30, as long as they have less than three years of experience and an annual revenue of less than Rs. 1 lakh. In a government order published on June 24, 2022, the Kerala Government announced the stipend programme. The objective of Kerala Lawyer Monthly Stipend Scheme
In a government order published on June 24, 2022, the Kerala Government announced the stipend scheme. This scheme’s primary goal is to support financially and inspire the state’s young attorneys to practise law and realise their aspirations. The Advocates Welfare Fund, established by the Act, will be used to pay out the stipend. The Kerala Government had previously authorised a monthly stipend of up to Rs. 5000/- for junior attorneys of a specific category, payable out of the Welfare Fund established under the Kerala Advocates Welfare Fund Act, 1980, via an order dated March 9, 2018.
