The objective of Karnataka Surya Raitha Scheme
For the successful implementation of this pilot project, the Karnataka Government will establish the “Harobele Surya Raitha Vidyuthchakthi Balakedarara Sangha Niyamitha Society.” The primary responsibility of this group is to collect payments from BESCOM and distribute them to ranchers. This new strategy implemented by the involved authorities would increase Agrarian Creation. During the day, there will be enough, consistent, and flexibly applied force. Ranchers will also have a continuous source of income even in adverse weather situations. This strategy eliminates the requirement for ranchers to receive vitality endowment. Furthermore, the solar water pump plan will decrease BESCOM’s framework expense while also limiting their interest and specialized misfortune.
Benefits of the Karnataka Surya Raitha Scheme
The Karnataka government will send Surya Raitha Plan solar pump units to ranchers. As a result, the state government will replace the present water system pump sets with these solar-powered water pumps to generate extra energy. Similarly, on January 19, 2019, the administration deployed this proposal to the Kanakapura test site. In the first step, the Karnataka government will replace 310 IP sets with solar-powered water pump sets. These solar-powered pumps can pump approximately 1.5 times as much water as contemporary IP pump sets. Furthermore, these pumps will generate one-third of the total energy generated for the nearby power network. Previously, the state government reported this proposal in FY 2014 to meet ranchers’ requirements for midday power.
Working Of Karnataka Surya Raitha Scheme
Ranchers benefit from the Karnataka Surya Raitha Plan since they do not have to turn on their IP Sets at night. As a result, solar-powered water pumps consider force and water waste. This strategy will be implemented by the Karnataka Government using assets gathered through a combination of ranchers’ ventures, Focal and State Government sponsorship, and subtle advancements from Bangalore Power Flexible Organization (BESCOM). BESCOM will recoup the advance money through the cost of excess vitality sold in the matrix. Following the repayment of the advance amounts, BESCOM will deposit the surplus amount in the ranchers’ financial account. Appropriately, the compensation time frame will be associated with 12 to 14 years as the measure of developed power, and its application will take this measure into account.
