About Kanya Sumangala Yojana
The Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana has been launched for females born in Uttar Pradesh. The Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2023 program offers financial assistance to parents or guardians of two female children living in the same home. Under this yojana, the state government would provide the female child a total of Rs 15000, which will be given to her in six equal payments. The Kanya Sumangala Yojana 2024 stipulates that the home income of the girl must be less than 3 lakh per month. For this project, the Uttar Pradesh government has allocated Rs 1200 crore in funding. Objective of Kanya Sumangala Yojana

Benefits of Kanya Sumangala Yojana

Eligibility Criteria
The Department of Women and Child Development of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has established qualifying requirements for applicants who wish to apply for this programme. The following are the requirements for the Scheme:
- The beneficiary’s family must possess documentation proving their status as long-term residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- The family’s annual income cannot be more than Rs. 3 lakh.
- The programme will only help up to two daughters from one household.
- A woman will also be eligible for the incentive if she births a third female child after giving birth to twins during her second pregnancy. Only in this case, if a woman gives birth to twin girls at her second delivery and a girl during her first, all three girls are qualified for the award.
- The programme will only benefit up to two females, in addition to the biological children and the adoptive girl child, if a family adopts an orphan girl.
Six Phases of Kanya Sumangala Yojana
First Phase
A one-time payment of Rs. 2000 will be available for girls born on or after January 4, 2019.
Second Phase
A girl child born after April 1, 2018, who has received all of her vaccinations, is entitled for a one-time payment of Rs. 1000.
Third Phase
Every girl child who has registered for Standard 1 during the current academic year will receive a one-time payment of Rs. 2000.
Fourth Phase
For the current academic year, a girl child who has registered for Standard 6 will get a one-time gift of Rs. 2000.
Fifth Phase
A girl child who has registered for Standard 9 during the current academic year will get a one-time reward of Rs. 3000
Sixth Phase
For the current academic year, a girl who has finished grades 10 and 12 and is enrolled in a bachelor’s degree programme or at least two years of a recognized diploma programme qualifies for a one-time payment of Rs. 5000.

- The homepage will appear on your screen, where you have to click on Citizen Service Portal.
- A New page will open where you have to Click the I Agree button signifies your acceptance of the scheme’s terms and conditions.
- After that click the continue button.
- The registration form will appear on the screen after you click the proceed button.
- Fill out the form now with the necessary information, such as:
