Relaunched Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai

The Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme has been started again because many poor women were not able to get the benefit before, even when they were eligible. In Tamil Nadu, there are around 2.26 crore ration cards, but only 1.14 crore women got approved, and almost 1.12 crore were left out, so the government has opened the application again. Chief Minister Stalin said in a meeting that all women who deserve it should be given one more chance, and officers were told to make the process easy. Some women had problems like wrong documents or technical issues, so now they can apply again. Special camps and help desks will be set up in many places, and people will be told about this through awareness campaigns.
