The government of Gujarat have launched Gujarat Gay Sahay Yojana. Through this scheme farmers who are engaged in natural farming from indigenous cows will be encouraged so that they can get more production at less cost by doing natural farming. Under this scheme the government is going to provide financial assistance to the farmers who are doing natural farming. The amount of this financial assistance will be deposited directly into the bank account of the beneficiary by direct benefit transfer method.
With the implementation of this scheme, farmers will be encouraged to use cow urine and dung for natural farming which will ultimately lead to crop growth at low cost and increase production. This scheme is going to improve the standard of living of the farmers. Other than that farmers will also become self-dependent.

- The excess cow expenditure from the April to June quarter will be sent in July, for the July to September quarter will be sent in October, from the October to December quarter will be sent in January and from the January to March quarter will be sent in April
