About Gargi Puraskar 2024
The Government of Rajasthan has launched Gargi Puraskar. Through this scheme, all those female students who have got above 75% marks in class 10th will be provided financial incentives. This financial incentive will be Rs 3000. Only those students who will be admitted in class 11th will be able to take benefit from this scheme. Other than that those female students who have passed class 12th with more than 75% marks will be provided incentives of Rs 5000. This scheme has been launched to motivate girls to achieve higher education.
Other than that with the implementation of this scheme girls will be motivated to study which will ultimately lead to a higher ratio of literacy in women. With the implementation of गार्गी पुरस्कार योजना, the beneficiary will become self-dependent. Other than that the standard of living of the beneficiaries will also be improved.
