Objective of Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme
The main objective of launching the Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme is to empower the female citizens in Delhi by providing financial assistance for their marriage. This scheme will provide a significant boost towards gender equality and upliftment of female citizens in Delhi. The financial assistance of the scheme will be given to those female citizens who are facing financial difficulties in their marriage. All the female citizens of Delhi whose annual income is less than INR 1 lakh are eligible to avail the benefits of the Delhi Widow Daughter Marriage.
Eligibility Criteria

Timeline for Disposing Application
- Firstly the application will be submitted by the female citizen on the e-district portal and accepted by the authority.
- Then the scrutiny process will start with the uploaded data and documents of the female citizens by the Data entry officer of the district office WCD and leave his/her remarks.
- Then the verifier will verify the uploaded data and documents and also verify the remarks of the previous level and again put the remark after field verification of the female citizens before sending it to the next level.
- Lastly, after the approval and sanctioning authority will check overall and take the decision on the application as per the rules.

STEP 1: All the female citizens of Delhi who want to apply for the Widow Daughter Marriage Scheme online can now visit the E District website.
STEP 2: Once the female citizens reach the homepage of the official website they must locate and click on the option called “new register”.
STEP 3: A new page will appear on your desktop screen the female citizens must enter their Aadhar Card along with the captcha code and click on the option “continue”.
STEP 4: The citizen registration form will appear on your desktop screen the female citizens must enter all the details that are asked including their Aadhar card number.
STEP 5: After entering all the details the female citizens must click on the option “continue” and they will receive their login ID and password in the mail.
STEP 6: Now the female reasons must head back to the homepage and click on the option “login”.
STEP 7: Now the female must login using their user id and password and click on the option “login”.
STEP 8: Now a dashboard will appear on your desktop screen the female citizens must click on the option “Widow Pension Form” under the heading “Services”.
STEP 9: Now finally the application form for the scheme will appear on your desktop screen the female citizens must enter all the details that are asked and attach all the necessary documents.
