Delhi University Financial Support Scheme 2024 was launched by Delhi University to help the financially unstable students who are studying at Delhi University. All the students who are pursuing a UG or PG degree in any Institute, centre or Department of Delhi University are eligible to apply for the scheme. Overview of Delhi University Financial Support Scheme
The students who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree in any institute department or centre of Delhi University can apply for Delhi University Financial Support Scheme. If the annual income of the applicant’s family is less than INR 4 lakh per year then he will receive the benefit of fees waived upto 100 % from the scheme. If the annual income of the applicant’s family is between INR 4 lakh per year to INR 8 Lakh then he is entitled to receive fees waived up to 50% from the scheme. The applicant can fill out the application form online to avail the benefits of Delhi University’s financial support scheme.

The main objective of launching the Delhi University financial Support Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the financially backward students of the university. With the help of this scheme, the students can able to complete their education and achieve their dreams. Eligibility Criteria
- The annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than INR 4 lakh per air to be eligible for category 1.
- The annual income of the applicant family must be between INR 4 lakh per year to INR 8 lakh per year to be eligible for Category 2.
- The applicant must be pursuing an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree.
- The applicant must be studying in any centre, department or Institute of Delhi University.

- Self-attested copy of EWS/ OBC-NCL Certificate or Annual family income certificate issued by competent authority after March 31, 2023. An income certificate issued by a notary will not be accepted.
- Self-attested copies of the latest Income Tax Returns (2022-23) of the following family members:
- a. Father
- b. Mother
- c. Sister (s) (Unmarried)
- d. Brother (s) (Unmarried and below 25 years of age)
- Self-attested copy of Pan card(s) of all the above
- Undertaking duly signed by the applicant.
- Signed copy of bonafide certificate duly signed by Head/ Director of the Centre/ Department/ Institute
- Self-attested copy of the mark sheet of the last exam passed.
- Self-attested copy of the latest Fee Receipt.
- Self-attested copy of Bank Passbook showing the Student’s Name, Account Number and IFSC code or a Cancelled Cheque.
Selection Process
- The candidates will be selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
- Only the applicants who are pursuing UG or PG degrees at Delhi University will you selected for the scheme.
- Only the students who are pursuing their degree in any Centre, Institute or department of Delhi University will be selected for the scheme.
- The applicant must fill out the application form before the last date to be selected for the scheme.
- To be selected for category 1 of the scheme the applicant’s annual income must be less than INR 4 lakh per year.
