About CS Scholarship
The Department of Higher Education has created this scholarship scheme to provide financial assistance to students who are very good at their education. Financial assistance will be provided to all of the people who belong to the economically weaker section of society and CSss Scholarship was introduced to provide scholarships to girls and also to boys. Every year 82000 scholarships are provided to all of the beneficiaries and these scholarships are equally divided between both genders. The government also spends rupees 1000 crore each year to provide the benefit of these types of scholarships to all of the students in India who are not able to get proper opportunities. The scholarship is available for UG and PG courses.

Rewards Details
The following rewards will be available to all of the people who are applying for the CSSS Scholarship :-

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship scheme:-
- The applicants must be in the top 20th percentile merit list of class 12 results of concerned boards (SEB/CBSE/ICSE).
- The candidates must be pursuing regular courses of graduation/postgraduation/professional studies from colleges/universities recognized by AICTE, UGC, MCI, DCI, or other regulatory bodies.
- The candidates belonging to reserved categories of SC, ST, OBC, and PWD will get a reservation of 15%, 7.5%, 27%, and 5%, respectively.
- The candidates’ annual family income must not exceed INR 8 Lakh.
- The applicants must not be availing of any other scholarship benefits.
- Also, those students who are pursuing Diploma courses are not eligible for this merit-cum-means scholarship.
Quota Of Reservation
The following candidates will be provided reservations as per the rules and regulations of the government:-

To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the CSSS website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen

Renewal Rules
The applicant must follow the following rules in order to renew the application form:-
- The applicant will be able to receive the benefit of the scheme for a maximum period of 5 years including graduation and PG level.
- The applicant must pursue graduation and PG in the same stream.
- The applicant must have maintained an attendance of 75% and must not be involved in any ragging activities.
- The applicants must have secured 55% in the previous examination.
