Overview of Cheyutha Scheme Telangana
The Government of Telangana has launched the Telangana Cheyutha Scheme. Under this scheme, support will be provided to weavers and other handloom workers. The Government of Telangana is going to contribute a stake of 16% towards the scheme and workers will contribute a stake of 8%. Through this program, financial security will be provided to 10000 power loom employees and close to 25000 handloom workers. The women will also benefit through the implementation of this scheme. Other than that under this scheme women whose age is between 45 to 60 years will be able to receive a financial reward of 75000 over 4 years. This scheme will improve the financial condition of the beneficiaries
