Benefits of the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship

- Under this programme, eligible 11th-grade students would get Rs. 500 each month, or Rs. 6000 annually.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible for this scholarship:-
- The only child of their parents, a woman, and a permanent resident of India are requirements for applicants to the scholarship programme.
- Such children, who are twins together and more than this, will also be qualified to benefit from this award. Any other child in the household will not be eligible besides these.
- Every student must enroll in a school that is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and be in class XI or XII.
- The monthly tuition for pupils enrolled in the current school cannot be more than Rs. 1500.
- The tuition fee for the student should rise from its existing level by 10% during the following two years. Higher fees will not be accepted.
- The applicant must have completed class X with at least 60% to qualify for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship.
- If an NRI student wants to use this facility, he or she must be enroll in a CBSE-affiliated school to apply.
- Along with this, the NRI student must also satisfy the remaining requirements; only then will he be eligible to apply for this award.
- The sole distinction for these kids is that their monthly tuition should not be more than Rs 6,000.
For Renewal
- The candidate must have taken CBSE class XI the previous academic year.
- The CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship will renew, and students who receive the benefit the previous year will also be eligible.
- The candidate student must have promoted to class XII with at least a 50% grade point average in class XI.
- The class X student receiving the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2021–22 may have monthly tuition costs that do not exceed Rs 1,500.
Total amount awarded in scholarships for CBSE single girls
The sum of the single-girl scholarship for class X female students has been set for Rs 500 per month in 2021; the chosen female students will receive the scholarship for a maximum of 2 years on a month-to-month basis. The scholarship awarded is flexible and open to change. The two years of this scholarship are for female students in classes XI and XII. After they finish school, female pupils are not eligible to use the program. Each student will receive 500 rupees every month, for a total of 6000 rupees.

The Central Board of Secondary Education recently announced that the online application for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme had begun on December 27, 2021. CBSE has provided the information through the official notification in its official website starting on January 17, 2022, to allow girls to benefit from the scheme. The scholarship Scheme is the first option available to students. Through this program, female students would receive 500 rupees per month or 6,000 rupees annually.
Awarded a CBSE SGC Scholarship
