About Banglar Bari 2025
The West Bengal State Government has announced the launch of Banglar Bari 2025. The scheme will provide financial assistance to those citizens who do not have a permanent house and also cannot afford one. According to the information the scheme will target a total of 13.8 lakh citizens of West Bengal State who are homeless. The total financial assistance of INR 1.2 lakh will be given to the selected beneficiaries under the scheme in three different installments. Under the first installment the West Bengal State Government will provide financial assistance of INR 60000 to all the selected beneficiaries.

Objective of Banglar Bari Payment
The main objective of launching the Banglar Bari payment is to inform all citizens about when they will receive their first installment payment. This scheme is a significant step of the West Bengal State Government towards eliminating homelessness in the state and transforming mud houses into pucca houses. This is came will significantly boost the infrastructure of West Bengal State and provide income stabilities to the citizens who belong to the economically weaker section of the society. The scheme focuses on Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), widows, disabled individuals, elderly people, minorities, and families living in poverty.

Eligibility Criteria
- The citizens must be a resident of West Bengal.
- The citizens must belong to an economically weaker section, based on income criteria set by the state.
- The citizens must not own a permanent (pucca) house in their name.
- The annual income of the citizens should be less than Rs. 1 lakh.
Financial Benefits
- The total financial assistance of INR 1.2 lakh or 1.3 lakh in remote areas will be given for house construction.
- The first installment of INR 60,000 will be given to the beneficiaries during the start of construction.
- The second installment of INR 50,000 will be given during the construction is going on.
