With this view the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Union Minister has introduced a very new initiative known as the APAAR Card. This AAPAR Card contains a unique id number for all individual students from Pre Primary to 12th standard from all over the country. The AAPAR Card stands for “Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry’ or “One Nation One Student ID” which means all the Indian school students’ academic records will be conserved in a single card digitally.

Overview of APAAR Card
APAAR Card is a “One Nation One Student ID” card that is implemented by the Government of India for all school-going students. Through this card students will track their academic records, achievements, exam results, learning outcomes, curricular activities, or information. In case any student wants to change their school or take transfer from one to another then it will be done easily via APAAR Card. Students’ APAAR ID can be downloaded after the completion of the registration process, and it allows you to access a number of benefits and simply maintain your academic data. Objective of APAAR Card
The main aim of the APAAR card is to create a digital portal for every individual student which will contain all the academic or achievement-related information of the student in a synchronized manner which can be analyzed by the students and the department to check their progress and their ability to achieve more. This digital Apar card contains a unique ID number as a lifelong benefit for students. The information that is present in a parking card will be confidential and only accessible by the individual student or by the government authority under certain conditions. Schools should arrange a special parent-teacher meeting from October 16 to 18 to increase awareness about APAAR ID among parents and to inform them about its purposes before collecting their consent.

- Students must be pursuing from Pre Primary to 12th Standard in any of the Indian Schools.
Download the APAAR Card by Scanning the QR Code
- If students need to create their APAAR Card via Scanning QR Code, then they need to visit the Official Website of the Government of India ABC.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- Here on the Right side of the home screen, a QR Code will be seen, students need to open their mobile phone and from there open the Scanner of their device.
- Align the QR Code with the mobile Scanner and scan it.
- Now the Registration page of APAAR Card will open on your screen, here fill in all the necessary details and complete the registration process.
Download APAAR Card by Login to the ABC Portal
- Students first need to visit the Official Website of the Government of India ABC.
- The homepage will appear on your screen.
- Here you need to click on the My Account option and then select Student to visit the Login page.
- On the Login page you need to enter your Mobile Number and PIN.
- After that your Dashboard will open on your screen, from here you need to select the Download APAAR Card option.
- The card will be downloaded on your device easily.
