About AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme
AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme is presented for the people who are taking into consideration a technical diploma or degree in a prestigious Institute present in India. All of the candidates can apply for these scholarship opportunities starting from the commencement of their semester and the last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st November 2021 so you will have to apply for the scholarship as soon as possible to be an integral part of the institute in which you are studying. The verification will be done by the concerned authorities of the institute on 15th December 2021 and the last date to verify all of the documents will be the 15th of December 2021. Types of Scholarships
The following types of scholarships are available for people through the AICTE portal:-
- AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (TECHNICAL DIPLOMA)
- AICTE – SWANATH SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (TECHNICAL DEGREE)
Selection Criteria
The applicant must follow the following selection procedure to successfully get a scholarship:-
- For degree level- Based on merit of the qualifying examination. Other criteria include age and annual family income. In case of a tie, a student having a higher percentage of marks will be ranked higher. Similarly, students of older age and lower annual family income will also be ranked higher.
- For Diploma Level- The selection of candidates will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, the candidate of older age and lower annual income will be ranked higher
Required Documents
The following documents are required to apply for the scholarship:-
- Orphan Candidates:
- Death Certificate of Father & Mother.
- Notarized affidavit on Rs 100/- stamp paper mentioning details as per enclosed format.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
- 10+2/ equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).
- Candidates whose either or both Parents Died due to Covid-19:
- Death Certificate of Father/Mother or both explicitly mentioning that the death was due to Covid-19.
- If one parent (Father or Mother) is alive, the current year income certificate explicitly mentions that the income of the family is less than 8 Lakh.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
- 10+2 / equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level.
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL).
- Notarized affidavit on Rs 100/- stamp paper mentioning details as per enclosed format.
- Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed)
- Death Certificate.
- Shaheed Certificate issued by the Armed Forces/ Central Paramilitary Forces.
- Bonafide Certificate issued by the institution.
- The current year income certificate explicitly mentions that the income of the family is less than 8 Lakh.
- 10+2/ equivalent and 10th Mark sheet for Degree Level and 10th/ equivalent for Diploma Level.
- Category Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL)
Terms And Conditions
The applicant must follow the following terms and conditions to apply for the scholarship:-
- This scheme will be implemented and monitored by AICTE
- The applications will be invited once a year through the National scholarship portal
- Incomplete applications will be rejected
- It is mandatory to have an Aadhar number to apply for this scholarship scheme
- If the applicant fails or drops out in any year then the applicant will not be eligible for further scholarship
- For converting cumulative grade point average to percentage multiplying factor will be 9.5
- The query regarding nonpayment of the scholarship due to an invalid or wrong account number will be entertained only up to 6 months from the date of publishing the merit list
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the AICTE portal
- In case any student has any query regarding the merit list then the student can raise the grievance within a month
- If grades are given in the mark sheet then the grades will be converted into CGPA and then the average CGPA will be calculated after that it will be converted into a percentage
- If CGPA and total marks are given in the mark sheet then total marks will be considered to determine the percentage
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria and apply for the scholarship:-
- The candidate should either be an orphan or both parents died due to covid-19 or a ward of armed forces and Central paramilitary forces martyred in action
- The family income of the applicant from all sources should not be more than Rs 8 lakh per annum
- The candidate must be studying in AICTE-approved institutions and courses
- Applicant should not be a recipient of any of the central or State Government or AICTE-sponsored scholarships

AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme 2024 Application Procedure
To apply for the scholarship we will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the AICTE Swanath website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called New Registration
- The instructions will open on your screen.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Click on the “Continue” option.
- Enter all of the details.
- Enter name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email ID, bank details, etc.
- Enter the captcha code
- Click the “Register” option.
- Now you have to log in using your credentials.
- Click on the option called Application Form
- The application form will be displayed on the screen
- Enter details including the State of Domicile, Name of the student, Date of Birth, Community/ Category, Father’s Name, Aadhaar card Number, Mobile Number, Scholarship Category, Gender, Religion, Mother’s Name, Annual Family Income, Email ID, etc.
- Click on “Save & Continue”
- Upload the documents.
- Click on “Final Submission’’
- The application form will be successfully submitted.
Check Application Status
If you want to check the application status then you will have to follow the simple procedure given:-

- Click on the option called Login.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- You need to select your year from the drop-down menu.

Check Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List
If you want to check the scholarship-sanctioned list then you need to follow the simple procedure given below:-

- Click on the option called new registration
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Now click on the option called Scheme Wise Scholarship Sanctioned List
- Choose an academic year, application type, ministry, scheme, state and district.

- Click on the option called Submit.
- The list will open on your screen.
Search Institute/School/ITI
If you want to search the institution or school then you need to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- The candidates will first have to visit the official website of the national scholarship portal by clicking on the link given here
- The home page will open on your screen.
- Click on the option called new registration
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Now click on the option called “Search for Institute/ School/ ITI”
- Enter the details including Institution State, Institution District, Institute /College/ITI and School/College/ITI Name(Optional)
- Click on submit.
- The list will open on your screen.
Renewal Process
If you want to renew your scholarship then you need to follow the simple procedure given below:-
