Under this scheme, the female students will have to undergo a 6-week course that will teach them about how to tackle online scams, cyberbullying, and other kinds of crimes that are committed over the internet. The scheme will help the female students with tools to safeguard themselves from various physical, mental, and social challenges. The scheme will offer more emphasis on cybersecurity and allow the female students to become aware of various crimes.

Objective of Agal Vilakku Scheme
The main objective of launching the scheme is to educate the female students of Tamil Nadu State regarding the increasing problem of cybercrime in the state. The scheme will educate the female students studying in classes 9th to 12th regarding the wide range of online crimes and how to tackle and safeguard themselves from these. Students will be provided a 30-page booklet that contains all the content regarding different kinds of online crimes and how to submit complaints regarding online fraud and other kinds of cyberbullying. The state government will also provide counselling and offer teachers to the schools who will teach the students regarding the booklet.
