And it was developed by the Agra Development Authority after a gap of 36 years to provide homes to at least 10,000 families. The township is coming up in Kakua and Bhandai areas, and it has been named in honor of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who had spent his childhood in Bateshwar village. The township is near Inner Ring Road, Southern Bypass, and Gwalior Road, spread on 340 acres in three phases with 11 sectors and cost of Rs 1,515.47 crore. Plots for houses, group housing, non-residential use, community centres, healthcare, and schools are included. Roads and drainage will be improved.
