Eligibility Criteria 

  • You must be a permanent resident of Assam. 
  • Only girls are eligible for the scheme. 
  • You must be studying from 11th to PG. 
  • Married girls are not eligible for the scheme except those who are in the PG or B.Ed category. 
  • In-service girls, admitted to the B.Ed course on deputation, will not be eligible for the scheme.
  • Daughters of Ministers, VMPs, and MLAs are not eligible for the Nijut Moina scheme.

Benefits of Nijut Moina 

  • The financial assistance of INR 1000 to 2500 will be given to the selected female students under the scheme. 
  • The financial assistance will significantly enhance the overall quality of living of the students and allow them to become financially independent.
  • The students can purchase various stationery commodities and study material with financial assistance. 
  • The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries to eliminate corruption.
